Servin has one of the top values for Montee de Tonnerre, and we were able to get some fantastic pricing once on this great effort. One of the first 2022s that we have been able to offer, this vintage looks great for Chardonnay, and though the harvest was early and challenging, those who put in the effort to stay ahead of the curve made exceptional wines. The 2022s are on par with the 2022s after a catastrophic 2021 vintage and have the potential to be one of the best made here. The vines here are almost 60 years old in some parts, with the youngest in their mid-30s, and we always love the mineral expression and floral perfume the MDT here can offer. It is a wine that delivers superb quality, standing up to some of the giants of Chablis for such a small asking price. Precise with incredible drive and length, this is a not-to-miss wine from this new, excellent vintage and is a tremendous top buy for this smaller format!
