These are the last bottles we have in stock of this favorite Grand Cru Chablis from Louis Michel. Sourced from an old vine plot, the scores from William Kelley were just released, and from the looks of it, the 2019s are set to be some of the most outstanding wines that Louis Michel has ever produced. A Beautiful vintage with ripe fruit and high acidity, this is a bottle not to miss. We only have a limited amount available, so grab one before it's too late!

Louis Michel is one of the top sources for Chablis, and this is an excellent Grand Cru at exceptional pricing. The vines here are an average of 60 years old and are planted quite densely on whitish, chalky limestone with more clay on the steeper part of their parcel and heaver brown clay soil on the western section. The juice is vinified in stainless steel tanks with 100% native yeasts used for primary and secondary fermentation before it is left on the healthy less to age. The wine is allowed to settle in the tank and then bottled with a very light filtration. This is an excellent example of Grand Cru Chablis with exceptional depth, elegance, and classic minerality from one of our clients' favorite producers.
Wine Advocate (William Kelley) 94 points! "The 2019 Chablis Grand Cru Vaudésir wafts from the glass with aromas of green apple, crisp apricot, mandarin, fresh pastry and iodine. Full-bodied, satiny and layered, it's textural and enveloping, with a concentrated core of fruit and a long, perfumed finish. This has turned out brilliantly."
Allen Meadows 91-94 points! "A softly exotic nose displays notes of passion fruit, white peach and tidal pool wisps. The super-sleek and beautifully refined middle weight flavors possess a silky texture while exhibiting better depth on the slightly firmer finish. This is impressive and altogether lovely."
