2012 is the best vintage of Presidence we have tasted, and we have a late disgorgement today, which is the norm for RL Legras, who likes to hold back stock and release them in different batches with progressively more age. We have had this Champagne countless times, and it's a favorite and has only gotten better with time. We just visited RL Legras a few weeks ago while in France, and this iteration is one of the best we have tasted so far. This sees some of the best fruit that the house has from their old vine grand cru plots and is every bit as good as the tete de cuvee Saint Vincent. Incredible purity and expression of minerality that carries a very focused intensity but is so elegant and lingering on the palate. This is right there with the legendary 1996 St. Vincent and could even surpass it one day. Presidence is a stunning bottle of bubbles, and we work directly with RL Legras to bring you this excellent pricing on the only bottles available in the USA right now. We can't recommend this enough for fans of Blanc de Blancs, and it is one of our favorite Blanc de Blancs of the vintage.
