The wines from Big Table Farm are some of the best in Oregon, and in particular, the Pinot Noir is an annual favorite for us. It is one of the most perfumed, airy, and femininely styled Pinot Noirs that we find in Oregon, reminding us of a very pretty Chambolle Musigny with its elegant red fruits, subtle rose petal aroma, and excellent understated length and tannins that are present but quite finely integrated. Sourced from nine different sites, this is the most complete Pinot Noir expression Big Table Farm produces. For all of our clients with Burgundian palates who have become interested in Oregon Pinot Noir, this is the type of wine you are after. The vintages here have been very short, but 2022 is an excellent vintage after some challenging years. A warmer year but one with impeccable quality of fruit, and some early reports are even drawing parrels to the 2015 vintage. This is one with massive potential and is highly recommended for Pinot Noir lovers and this time around has a fantastic score from Wine Spectator.
Wine Spectator 94 points! "Polished and handsomely structured, with expressive raspberry and tart cherry flavors that take on forest floor, dusky spice and orange peel accents as this builds complexity and richness toward refined tannins. Drink now through 2032."
