The 2020 Droin Chablis are among the best made from this top Chablis estate. This wine has a great sense of place, lots of dry extracts, and laser point precision. Their Fourchaume has that extras richness from this top premier cru vineyard, and in a great vintage like 2020 it’s of Grand Cru quality. We have a terrific price for this wine so grab some while you can, and it will be arriving late next month.

Vinous (Neal Martin) 91-93 pts!  The 2020 Chablis Fourchaume 1er Cru had clearly closed down, but as Droin himself mentioned, you can feel that the fruit will come through on the nose in another month’s time. The palate is fresh and taut, offering notes of pineapple and guava, very good weight and concentration toward the finish, and a spicier aftertaste than the Montmains.
