Teurons is a top premier cru that buys this vintage and is located to the south of Beaune Greves, featuring vines planted in 1963, totaling 1 hectare densely planted to 10,000 vines. The vineyard sees de-budding, green harvesting, and leaf thinning while using only environmentally friendly protection. Grapes are hand-harvested, 100% destemmed and fermented in traditional open-top vats with punch-downs or pump-overs once a day. The Teurons spends 14 months in barrel with 30% new oak, seeing a very slow malolactic fermentation with no racking before being bottled by gravity with no finning or filtering. 2021 is one of the top vintages of all time for this cuvee, and with some time in the cellar, it will be fantastic.
