A sizeable Domaine in Meursault, this address has continued to be an excellent buy for white burgundy, and we have two great vintages, one of their top wines in this rare magnum format. With new owners and a large cash infusion a few years back, the quality jumped to the world-class level by replacing the old wine-making equipment, cutting yields in half, and practicing sustainable farming. Charmes-Dessus is an excellent location, situated at the top of the Les Charmes vineyard, connecting to Les Perrières; and is prime Premier Cru territory and is considered the superior part of the Charmes vineyard. Both of these vintages are exceptional and are neck-and-neck examples of some of the best that Chateau de Meursault has to offer and the top wines from this domaine in 2020 and 2019. Both are exceptional, classic examples that should really reach the higher end of the scores below with time in the bottle. These are some of the last magnums from the Domaien, and we have some of the only bottles available in the USA at this friendly pricing.
