These are the last bottles of our best buy for white Burgundy in this vintage. This one is from Domaine Jomain, which is based in Puligny Montrachet, and the vines for this cuvee are located right outside the village border, very close to Puligny. This has been a recent client favorite, and when we tried this again recently, we were blown away by how good it was and drank like a village Puligny Montrachet. The lovely forwardness of the vintage, grand sense of place, and impeccable balance is truly impressive. There are beautiful aromas of white flowers, stone fruits, liquid minerals, and a touch of saline. The palate is lush and pure, with village vineyard depth and tons of dry extract on the perfectly balanced finish. It is the best Bourgogne Blancs we have tasted this vintage for under $40 and something to grab a case of, so dont miss these last bottles!
