One of the top addresses in Chassagne-Mopntrachet, the wines of Bernard Moreau, have been some of the favorites of the appellation for many years, and we have a fantastic Chassagne-Montrachet AC, which is always one of the top buys here. Alex Moreau has been making the wines here for many years but decided in 2021 to relabel under his name. But as we said in our previous offer, these are the exact same wines that we have all come to love. 2022 is an excellent example of this wine and is a contender for one of the best of all time. This is sourced from a few Domaine plots in Chassagne-Montrachet, with about 1/3 coming from in and around Les Masures (situated near Morgeot and Champgains), giving the wines their minerality with 2/3rds coming from the Chassagne-Puligny border which contributes fruit and freshness. This is quite remarkable and one of the top examples of Chassagne-Montrachet AC once again. A big note from Jasper Morris: this has serious potential and is a fantastic buy for 2022 White Burgundy.

Jasper Morris (Inside Burgundy) 91-94 points! "An even lemon and lime colour. Energy on the nose, not yet so much detail. The palate delivers its usual resounding success, a mass of pure white fruit which builds in intensity to the back and finishes with the lightest of toasty notes which is complementary. Excellent length. Not only is this really good, there are 100 barrels of it!"
