We have been following Dubreuil-Fontaine for a while now, as the Domaine remains an excellent source for some of the best buys in Burgundy. A five-generation family estate now headed by Christine Dubreuil in Pernand, they have a beautiful collection of vineyards from Bourgogne up to the Grand Crus. It's one of the few stops left where a Grand Cru Burgundy can still be had for a value. These are longtime, classic staples for us and some of the best buys in Burgundy at their respective levels. We have the current release of the Corton Charlemagne from the 2022 vintage, which is a contender for one of the best ever made here. Sourced from 35+ years old vines from two plots on the hill, this is an elegant example with excellent delineation and focus. The style here is typically a bit more on the elegant, sleeker, mineral-driven side, and this is quite restrained for 2022. This one could be approached now but will have no issue spending a decade in the cellar. We have low pricing on a few cases today, and it's a top buy for Corton Charlemagne this vintage!
