This is specifically sourced from the East Face Block of Alder Springs vineyard, with only about 200 cases made. It's a lovely, pure expression of the Chardonnay grape. Very mineral-driven, the small percentage of new oak here really helps amplify the focus and purity. There are beautiful aromas of Acacia blossoms, fresh apples, citrus with lovely minerality, flint, saline, and a touch of dried herbs. The palate is vivacious and fresh, with lots of dry extracts and just as much fruit as minerals on the finish that lasts minutes.
